It is commonly accepted that every component in a hi fi system is microphonic and produce resonance that will distort the quality of the music reproduced. This distortion can be significantly reduced by siting the components on a purpose built equipment rack designed to deal with the resonance.
The design of a hi fi rack and the use of materials in its construction is critical. From extensive research Quadraspire have found that the use of non-ferrous metals such as aluminium and bronze along with natural materials such as wood and bamboo reduce resonance. The shape of the shelves and columns used within the rack also determine how resonance is treated.
The price listed is based on a four shelved hi fi rack with 32mm columns. We have sold Quadraspire hi fi furniture since 2004 and know the range inside out. Please contact the store with your specifications and we will provide a detailed quote by return.
