The Space 294 is as striking in its appearance as it is in its performance. The 294 refers to the pivot to spindle distance of this remarkable table.

Even in a family of special products, the Space 294 is outstanding. One of the few turntables on the market ever to be specifically designed to take advantage of a 12 inch tonearm. The longer arm affords less tracking error than a shorter arm, and Nottingham have been extremely clever in avoiding the pitfalls typical of these longer and therefore heavier arms. By eliminating as much mass as possible from the headshell end of the arm this table will track imperfect records with the best of them. The 294 also has a 14" platter. By adding extra mass outside the diameter of the record, Tom Fletcher has greatly improved the rotational stability of the player.
