VDH's DIY Screw-On Speaker Connector is a high quality solderless, screw-on style, loudspeaker cable termination system suited for multi-strand loudspeaker cable and wire types down to AWG 12 (i.e. up to 3 mm total metal diameter)^*.

The DIY Screw-On Speaker Connectors are available in both angled spade and banana tip version and are fit with red and blue “van den Hul” marked colour coding rings for easy polarity identification.
The screw-on base’s high pressure clamp function creates a low loss electrical connection to all cable strands and ensures maximum signal transfer. All parts furthermore are heavy 24 carat gold plated so corrosion is almost impossible and the contact quality is maintained over a long period of use.

Mounting

To mount these connectors, each 14 mm bare stripped multi-strand speaker cable wire end is simply inserted through the screw-on base and the strands are circumferentially folded around a pressure ring. The screw-on base is then firmly tightened, ensuring a reliable electrical connection.

For a long-lasting optimal contact we advise to apply our special contact fluid The SOLUTION on the cable strands before mounting the spade or banana part.
