About Divine Audio
At Divine Audio we know how different hi-fi can be, and how different your needs are. From the casual listener who wants a small system for their kitchen to a true audiophile, we will be happy to help you find what you want. We strive to provide the best possible experience for choosing a hi-fi or cinema system, using our state of the art demonstration areas or just our sense of humour*.
We will also install a wide array of electronics into your home if you so desire. Pop into the store and we can explain all the automated systems to control lighting, security, video and music that are available.
So if you’re looking for a new piece of entertainment technology, or even just fancy a chat, come and see us. We won’t baffle you with acronyms (Tim doesn’t know any anyway), and we are a friendly bunch. See you soon!
*Tom can help you with the demonstration areas…

Tim – Head Honcho
The cherubic face of Divine Audio belongs to Tim Chorlton. Tim keeps the divine machine well oiled and on the right tracks. His vast skill set includes delegating, entrusting, designating and empowering.
Though his cross-country days may be behind him, Tim still enjoys sports such as cycling and pub-golf. With ears like an eagle and eyes like a bat, Tim is our go-to guy for audiovisual opinions and is our official product tester. |

Tom – Probie
The newest addition to our ranks, Tom has quickly adapted to our way of working. Tom spends most of his days in the store doing the work that Tim takes credit for, and is particularly interested in cinema systems and turntables.
In his spare time he enjoys extreme kite flying, mountain boarding or paying bills for his ever-broken Mazda MX-5. |

Paul – Student
Every good hi-fi shop deserves a student. Paul works at Divine Audio during university holidays and usually spends his time cleaning the mess Tim has made during term times. Paul has adopted the relaxed working ethos of the company to develop a unique working style; no matter what the task, Paul spends 90% of his time sitting down.
Paul is the best looking of the team, and coincidentally writes the staff profiles. |

Adam – Webmaster
The creator of DivineAudio.co.uk and DivineCables.co.uk, Adam is our source of all knowledge regarding the internet, and Tim’s pub-golf partner. Years of late night web browsing has meant Adam knows all there is to know about websites.
Adam also plays the guitar and sings. In the shower. Not the guitar, just the singing. |

P – Crestron Programmer
P is our resident programming CIAP certified expert for home installations. For security reasons, we can’t reveal his (or her) identity on the internet. He (or she) seems to attract stalkers.
P has been programming for over 10 years and is currently working towards his (or her) AMX ACE certificate. He (or she) is a climate enthusiast, and has a working wind turbine at home. He (or she) is also attempting to make his (or her) own biofuel, and not just by eating prunes. |

Matt – Computer Genius
Despite being born and bred locally, our technophile Matt has travelled the globe in search of a job that challenges him – from Sweden to China, Germany to France, he still hasn’t found a task he can’t handle. Whilst all things computery are his passion, he is also a fully NICEIC qualified electrician. A rugby fanatic with season tickets to Northampton Saints, Matt has found that like many things in life he doesn’t get the opportunity to play after getting married three years ago, and now only watches. Tim, Adam and Mark can only empathise. Tom and Paul just laugh.

Mark – Sparkie
An ex Kettering Town rugby player, Mark has been a NICEIC certified electrician and domestic installer for 6 years. Previous experience includes network data cabling and impregnating jam donuts (his first job). He has also programmed the UK’s top 100 fish and chip shops into his PDA. |
